At last I’ve finished the entry to Hillarys Blinds Country Craft competition.

As the beautiful Wild poppies  fabric  was perfect for my ideas for the new look living room, I decided to go for  reupholstering  a stool and making a cushion. They are the first of the new scheme so will take pride of place when the decorating is complete.

Valentine is my first mini kit made to share as a freebie .
 I picked Valentine as it was my dad’s middle name – he was born on Valentine’s day, so my first kit is for him.

 The second in my crafty ideas pages. Salt dough is a great medium for old and young. Letters can be made as hangings or fixed to a backboard if you want to spell out names.
